Nowadays, computer is related with human life, education, and medical health etc. The computerization and automation in our works and society during the rapid industrialization give us more convenience. In information society, information is regarded as important value, personal computer goes to play a important role in our life. The system consist of input conversion process, output and information system means that is management system of data produce. The information system of computer are recognized as a significantly technical instrument in order to improve the professionality and quality of information activities. It is based on database system. Database management system is composed of record, field, and file, program. The computer is classified by capacity such as micro computer, work station and mini computer, main frame computer, super computer. The computer means the micro computer in this study. In order to make a good use of computer for our goal effectively, the access to computer should be diffused. In this study, the present conditions of computer possession is investigated and presented a case in department of dental laboratory technology. This study suggest the major advantage in utilizing computer in department of dental laboratory technology are following:
1) the increasing in productivity
2) the increasing in satisfaction
3) the saving of cost
4) the saving of time
5) the increasing of efficiency
Also, serve the development environment, progressive data and visual information. In order to achieve diffusion to utilization of computer which is able to cope with the information society, the positive support and investment of authority concerned are needed.
